i'll be able to see again!

i'll be able to see at a normal person's vision starting after the 24th because my ils worker finally made an eye appointment for me to get new glasses and have an eye exam. (even though i don't really need the damn glasses.. i can read without them on and i can see fine without them on for the most part) i've never lost my glasses before, so this is the first time that i've EVER lost my glasses in about 15 years (since i ONLY recently had to get glasses after i was in a damn car accident).
i called the guy who's arranging camp courage to check on how i would be getting to the camp. i could've sworn that the counselors picked me up at my apartment last year and we went to the camp, so i told him, "well.. are the counselors picking me up again or how am i arranging the transportation?" and he said, "OH NOO.. we generally don't get our counsellors to bring the clients to camp unless there's special circumstances. i assume that you took metro mobility last year and don't remember." and i didn't think it was a big deal, so i just said, "yeah.. i probably did." then when i got off the phone with him, i remembered that the counselors DID have to take me to the camp because i couldn't get a ride with metro mobility for some reason. i knew that i wasn't crazy and making shit up.. whatever, i still made a ride going to the camp but i had to wait to make the return ride because it was more than 5 days in length. however, i DID tell metro mobility that i'm not gonna be taking my wheelchair because i wanna lose that fuckin piece of shit. so it'll be my first vacation without the electric wheelchair.. wait.. i almost forgot, i didn't have my electric wheelchair in new york either. i almost forgot but the pca made me hang onto a wheelchair almost all of my new york vacation.. but it was better than sitting my ass down in a fuckin wheelchair ALL vacation.
